Shifu Wu

Shifu Jingchao Wu is recognized by the Chinese government as an official First Degree Wushu Judge and First Degree Wushu Athlete. He has been deeply passionate about the martial arts since early childhood, and first began training under the guidance of Zhang Yongqiang, a 32nd generation Shaolin monk. In 1990, Shifu Wu began training in the Shandong Province Tengzhou City School of Physical Education, and later entered the Henan Shaolin Temple to pursue traditional forms training.

After graduating from the Beijing University of Physical Education in 2005, Shifu Wu coached at the Shandong Province Tengzhou City Olympic Sports School and the Beijing Shaolin Martial Arts School. He has actively participated in various martial arts events in China and around the world. For example, in 2004, Shifu Wu performed in the annual CCTV New Year Gala, Chinese premier television event of the year. He also took part in performances and martial arts cultural exchange programs in Germany, Thailand and the United States. In addition, Shifu Wu has been a serious competitor at numerous events and has won first place in Mantis Boxing at the International Wudang Martial Arts Festival Traditional Forms Competition and first place in double whips at the National Traditional Martial Arts Competition in China.

Shifu Wu is a dedicated teacher who not only emphasizes proper technique, but also seeks to develop the martial spirit within each student. He is very passionate about spreading knowledge and appreciation of the Chinese martial arts around the world.
